01Scope and acceptance
These Leaderboard Terms apply to the Flowing Hair (FGH) holders leaderboard and its levels (the “Leaderboard”), published in the Leaderboard and Your position sections of flowinghair.com (the “Leaderboard Section”). They supplement, and form part of, the Disclaimer, the Privacy Policy and the Legal Notice. If there is a conflict on a Leaderboard matter, these Leaderboard Terms prevail.
By viewing the Leaderboard Section, connecting a wallet, choosing a username or hiding your address, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to these Leaderboard Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Leaderboard Section or its wallet features.
02What the Leaderboard is
The Leaderboard is a free, informal, community-based ranking of the holders of Flowing Hair (FGH) on Ethereum. There is no application, registration, account or fee: a wallet appears on the leaderboard automatically because of the FGH it holds on the public blockchain.
The Leaderboard is operated by the publisher of flowinghair.com, a private individual acting in a non-professional capacity (see the Legal Notice). It is not a company, a regulated service, a financial product or a loyalty program.
03Eligibility
To appear in the Leaderboard you must hold at least one (1) FGH on the Ethereum blockchain. To use the optional wallet features (username, hiding your address) you must also control the wallet, be of legal age and capacity in your jurisdiction, and not be subject to any sanction or restriction that prevents you from using the Leaderboard Section.
It is your sole responsibility to make sure that your use of FGH and of the Leaderboard complies with the laws that apply to you. Contract addresses are not ranked.
04Levels
Your level depends only on the FGH balance of your wallet. The current levels and their minimum balances are: FGH Ascend (1 FGH), FGH Elevate (1,000 FGH), FGH Rise (10,000 FGH), FGH Inner Circle (100,000 FGH) and FGH Club (1,000,000 FGH).
Levels are labels and nothing more. We may rename, add, remove or change levels and thresholds at any time, with or without notice. When your balance changes, your level changes with it.
05Leaderboard and ranking method
The leaderboard is built from public blockchain data, obtained through third-party services (including the Blockscout explorer and a public Ethereum node), and refreshed periodically. It shows the largest holders only (currently the top 500), together with the total number of holders reported by the explorer.
At our discretion we leave out contract addresses (such as liquidity pools and the token contract), burn addresses, and any other wallet we choose to exclude (for example team, treasury or exchange wallets). We may change the method, the list of exclusions, the size of the list or the refresh frequency at any time.
Rankings can be delayed, incomplete or wrong. The blockchain is the only authoritative source of any balance. No compensation is due if your rank, level or balance shown changes or is displayed incorrectly, for any reason.
06No rights, rewards or promises
Holding FGH, belonging to a level or having a rank gives you no right or claim to any reward, airdrop, allocation, discount, revenue, event, access, governance power or other benefit, and nothing on the Leaderboard Section is a promise that any such benefit exists or will exist.
We may, in our sole discretion and without obligation, offer perks or events to some or all levels in the future. If so, they will be announced separately, may depend on factors other than your balance, may be modified, postponed or cancelled at any time, and are described on the Leaderboard Section for illustration only. We may stop operating the Leaderboard at any time.
07Not an investment, no price influence
The Leaderboard is not an investment, an investment contract, a security or an offer of any financial product, and nothing in it is advice or a recommendation. Do not buy or hold FGH in order to reach a level or a rank, or in the expectation of profit, a benefit or a particular price.
The existence of the Leaderboard and of levels may attract attention to FGH, but any increase in price may be temporary and may not last. The price of digital assets is extremely volatile and may fall sharply or to zero, including if the Leaderboard is modified or stopped. You bear all risk of loss, and nothing in the Leaderboard entitles you to any compensation for losses or market movements.
Holders of FGH, which may include the publisher of the Site and persons connected to the project, may buy, hold or sell FGH at any time. You must not rely on any assumption about their activity when making your own decisions.
08Connecting your wallet and signing messages
Connecting a wallet is optional and only serves to let you choose a username or hide yourself from the leaderboard. You will be asked to sign short text messages with your wallet. A message signature is free: it is not a transaction, it does not approve any spending, it cannot move your funds and it gives us no control over your wallet.
Our messages always start with “Flowing Hair FGH Leaderboard” and state the action, your wallet address and a time. Read the message in your wallet before signing, and never sign anything that does not match. We will never ask for your seed phrase, your private key or any payment, and we will never contact you first by message, email or social media to ask you to connect or sign. If someone does, it is a scam.
A signature is valid for about ten minutes. You alone are responsible for the security of your wallet, your keys and your device.
09Usernames
A username is optional. It must be 3 to 20 characters long, using only letters, numbers and the underscore (_), and it must be unique. To set one, you must hold at least one (1) FGH at that moment.
You may not choose a username that impersonates the project, its publisher or team, another holder, a public figure or a brand, that suggests an official role (for example “admin”, “official” or “support”), that is offensive, hateful, sexual, violent or unlawful, that promotes a product, a link or a scam, or that is otherwise misleading. We apply automatic filters and may also review names manually.
We may refuse, change, remove or release any username at any time, without notice and without giving a reason. A username gives you no ownership or right over the name. You can remove your own username at any time by signing a new message with your wallet.
10Hiding from the leaderboard
If you choose “Hide me from the leaderboard”, your wallet is removed from the leaderboard: no row is displayed for it, neither with your address nor with your username, and the ranks of the other holders are recalculated without it. Your address is not included in the data sent to visitors’ browsers. We may also hide a wallet ourselves, for example at its owner’s request or under the exclusion rules of these Terms.
This option only changes what the Leaderboard Section displays. It does not make you anonymous. FGH balances and wallet addresses are public and permanent on the blockchain, anyone who already knows or finds your address can see your balance there, and copies made before you hid yourself (screenshots, archives, search engine or browser caches, third-party sites) are outside our control.
You can change this setting at any time by signing a new message with your wallet. The option is provided on a best-effort basis and may be unavailable temporarily.
11Public display and personal data
By default the leaderboard publicly shows a shortened wallet address, rank, level and FGH balance of each ranked holder, and a username if one has been set. This information comes from the public blockchain; hiding your address changes only how it is displayed on the Leaderboard Section.
When you use the wallet features, we store on the Site’s server your wallet address, your username (if any), your choice to be hidden from the leaderboard, and an anonymous identifier derived from your address with a secret key. We do not collect your name, email address or any other identity information. The hosting provider may keep technical logs (such as IP address and access times), and the Leaderboard Section asks third-party services for public data (a public Ethereum node and the Blockscout explorer, which receive wallet addresses to check balances; Google Fonts, which receives a technical request from your browser).
We keep this information until you remove it or we delete it. To ask for access to or deletion of your data, write to flowinghairfgh@proton.me. See the Privacy Policy for more details.
12Non-transferable, exclusion and suspension
A level, a rank or a username cannot be sold, transferred or exchanged. They follow the wallet and the balance only.
We may exclude any wallet from the leaderboard, remove or change any entry, suspend or limit access to the wallet features, or modify, suspend or end the Leaderboard at any time and for any reason, including suspected manipulation or abuse, conduct that harms the project or its community, a legal or security requirement, or technical reasons.
13Acceptable use
You agree not to manipulate or attempt to manipulate the leaderboard or the data it relies on, not to impersonate others, not to attack, overload or scrape the Leaderboard Section or its server in an abusive way, not to attempt to bypass its limits or filters, not to introduce malicious code, and not to use the Leaderboard for any unlawful purpose.
14Availability and accuracy
The Leaderboard Section and its wallet features are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind. They depend on third-party services (blockchain explorers, Ethereum nodes, your wallet, your browser and our hosting provider) that may be slow, wrong or unavailable. We do not guarantee that the Leaderboard Section will be continuously available, error-free or secure.
15Third parties, events and perks
The Leaderboard Section may link to or mention third-party wallets, exchanges and services. Such mentions are for convenience only; we do not endorse them, and they are governed solely by their own terms.
If we or a third party ever organise an event, offer or perk linked to the Leaderboard, specific rules will be announced at that time and will apply to it. Taking part in any event or activity is at your own risk, and to the fullest extent permitted by law the publisher is not responsible for the acts, omissions or services of third parties.
16Forward-looking statements
Anything said on the Leaderboard Section or in connection with the Leaderboard about future plans, levels, perks or events is a statement of intention only. It may change, may not happen, and is not a commitment. We have no obligation to update or complete any such statement.
17Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the publisher of the Site shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or special damage, including loss of funds, profits, data, username, rank or level, arising out of or in connection with the Leaderboard, your reliance on it, a change or error in the leaderboard, a wallet or signature problem, or any transaction involving FGH.
Nothing in these Leaderboard Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, or any right that mandatory consumer-protection rules give you where you live.
18Intellectual property
The Flowing Hair name, the logos, the level names and level badges, and the design of the Leaderboard Section are the property of their respective owner(s). You may mention your level and display it for personal, non-commercial purposes, but you may not reproduce, modify or use them in a way that suggests an official endorsement or affiliation without prior written permission.
19Changes to these terms
We may update these Leaderboard Terms from time to time without prior notice. The version published on this page at the time of your visit is the one that applies, and the date at the top shows when it was last changed. If you keep using the Leaderboard after a change, you accept the updated version.
